Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Manager – Operations Research (Chicago,
IL) – Telecommuting Permissible. (multiple positions). Define data
requirements and gather and validate information applying judgment
and statistical tests. Present results of mathematical
modeling/data analysis to management. Prepare management reports
defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions.
Design, conduct, and evaluate experimental operational models in
cases where models cannot be developed from existing data.
Coordinate and execute the timelines and project deliverables of
AmeriSpeak and Amplify AAPI client studies. Manage client
relationships, offer clients insight into questionnaires, studies,
and sample designs based on in-depth knowledge of the capabilities
of the AmeriSpeak and Amplify AAPI panel. Solve problems related to
project schedules, quality of deliverables, and budget. Work
closely with Client Services Senior Manager and Business
Development team to anticipate future problems with the project and
design solutions to deliver the project on schedule and on budget.
Provide value-added insights and problem-solving for the client in
the areas of questionnaire wording and translations, study and
sampling design, data collection methodology, profile data appends,
analysis and reporting, and weighting solutions. Supervise
AmeriSpeak client services specialist who supports the projects
from beginning to completion. Coordinate with other internal teams
such as AmeriSpeak business development, programming, telephone
operations, AmeriSpeak data services, IT, panel operations, and
statistics to execute AmeriSpeak and Amplify AAPI studies. Monitor
budget management and cost control, quality of deliverables, and
completion of deliverables on schedule. Support leadership in
developing workflow processes, procedures, and SOPs specifically in
areas of expertise and core competencies. Support the training in
those areas of expertise and core competencies. Salary: $92,762 to
$105,000 per year. Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent
in any field, and (3) years of work experience in the job offered
or a related client survey research project position. Also requires
three (3) years of experience in each: 1) Sampling and weighting
applied to social science research panels and projects. 2) Survey
design, cultural impact and language evaluation as it impacts AAPI
(Asian American and Pacific Islander) study design and execution
and panel development. 3) SPSS, R and SAS to process data, and
streamline and improve data workflow. 4) Coordinating multiple
projects, identify and mitigate project risks and work effectively
with multiple departments, stakeholders, and internal/external
