With Staff Management - SMX, you'll get a weekly paycheck, learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team in a clean and safe environment. The responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to, removing and gutting the inside of carcasses and ensure all quality requirements are met. This full-time position will function during the hours of 6AM through 2:30PM. Schedule may vary depending on production needs. Industry: Manufacturing. Duties: Train in various positions within the Harvest Department to rotate within the department as needed. Safely and properly utilize straight knives, wizard knives, Jarvis knives, saws, and other processing equipment. Properly adhere to all sanitary dressing procedures and GMP s. Maintain pace with the speed of the line. Properly conduct and document quality checks. Employment Types: Temp to Hire. Work Location: Johnsonville, 334 North Street, Momence, IL 60954. Job Types: Food Production, General Labor, General Production, General Warehouse, Hand Packaging, Manufacturing, Warehouse. Shifts: 1st Shift. Attributes: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and GMP is required. Ability to work in a fast pace environment. Great communication skills. Working Conditions - Member must be able to work in a humid and wet environment. Temperatures will vary depending on time of the year (winter/summer). Must be able to tolerate spice odors.
