Job Description:
A company is looking for a Non-QM West Coast Underwriter Team
Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Non-QM underwriters, ensuring adherence
to guidelines and standards
Perform in-depth underwriting of Non-QM loans and assist with
escalated decisions
Monitor underwriting pipelines and conduct quality control
reviews
Required Qualifications
4+ years of Non-QM underwriting experience, particularly in DSCR,
bank statement, P&L, Foreign National, and ITIN loans
Experience mentoring or leading a team of underwriters
Proficiency in manual underwriting and advanced income analysis for
self-employed borrowers
Familiarity with loan origination systems such as Meridian Link or
Lending QB
Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and investor
guidelines
