Requirements




Responsibilities

• 
  
• Answer phones; transfer calls and responding to other forms of electronic communication
  
• Customer Service: assist with the greeting of visitor's and handling inquiries from the public
  
• Assist with event promotion and advertisement of on campus activities
  
• Mail Correspondence; log packages, send/receive mail, sort and deliver mail (in accordance with USPS regulations)
  
• Assists with the management of opening, closing and vacation periods within the residence halls
  
• Various customer service activities
  
• Assist in maintaining a secure living environment through proper policy enforcement
  
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Residence Education staff
  
• Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement
  
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications
  
  MINIMUM:
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Current USF student in good standing
    
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
    
  • A commitment to quality customer service
    
  • Positive attitude
    
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
    
  • High level of maturity and responsibility
    
  • Satisfactory computer skills within Word and Excel in Microsoft Office
    
  • Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University
    
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, with or without accommodation
    
  • Ability to pass background check
    
    
    
    PREFERRED:
    
    
    
    • 
      
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with individuals of all ages (specifically young adults from ages 18-25 years old)
      
    • Experience with e-mail programs such as Microsoft Outlook
