Description:Experience performing MIG weldingExperience using fabrication equipmentExperience measuring and reading blueprintsMust be able to set-up and operate their own welding equipmentMust be able to read and interpret blue prints and calculate decimals and inchesLoad sheets of steel into a Rolling Machine (unrolls the coil of steel)Adjust the machine depending on the thickness of the steelPerform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel that is usually 16 gauge thickHorizontal and vertical welds mostly on table in front of them or off the groundSeem welds to connect the metal chutesUtilize a hand grinder to smooth out the weldsWork off of a blueprintSet-up and adjust the weld station per the jobLight assembly on handles/hardware utilizing hand and power toolsCould load trucks as needs using a hand dollyMaterial is typically 36 inches in diameter and up to 8 feet long (Candidates will be welding individual sections of the chute) About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
