About the Role This opportunity is open due to the retirement of a long-standing supervisor. The incoming Production Supervisor will step into a well-run operation and work closely with leadership to maintain high standards while continuing to improve efficiency and workflow. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, and comfortable leading from the floor. You are not expected to be a mechanic, but you must understand how production equipment runs and be confident troubleshooting alongside your team when needed. Responsibilities - Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet output and delivery goals - Oversee machine setups, changeovers, and workflow adjustments throughout the shift - Allocate labor effectively to maintain efficiency across production operations - Monitor production metrics and drive improvements in uptime, throughput, and quality - Support troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime and keep production on track - Ensure smooth start-of-day operations and adjust priorities as production demands shift - Drive cross-training initiatives to build flexibility within the team - Maintain a strong floor presence and reinforce accountability, safety, and performance standards - Support overtime operations as needed Requirements - BS/BA/AAS degree or an equivalent of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience required - 2 years supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment is required - Strong leadership and communication skills - Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a hands-on production setting - Experience managing production schedules and daily workflow - Familiarity with machine changeovers and troubleshooting - Organized, decisive, and comfortable holding teams accountable Compensation & Benefits - $80K–$100K base salary - Bonus potential - Paid overtime at 1.5x hourly equivalent rate - Very comprehensive, low-cost health benefits with excellent coverage - Pension plan - Stable, long-standing company with strong employee retention If you’re looking for a production leadership role in a stable, well-established manufacturing company where you can lead from the floor and drive real operational impact, this is a strong opportunity to consider.
