Job Description Job Description Job Title: Assembler Job Description This role involves supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines by applying job skills and company policies and procedures. You will acquire a working knowledge of product flow and understand the impact of quality. Assignments are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. You will receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new tasks, operating within established policies and procedures. Responsibilities Arrive daily at your work station and begin by reading instructions for the specific job. Document and report any defective parts as per the 'see something, say something' policy. Perform in-house quality checks to ensure all parts meet quality standards. Utilize basic hand tools such as flat head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Philips screwdrivers. Learn and perform various functions, ranging from 1 to 20, as per the daily work instructions. Cross-train focus factory members as instructed. Operate within established policies and procedures, seeking approval for deviations. Essential Skills Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools. Ability to read and document instructions accurately. Understanding of production standards and goals. Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly. Basic computer skills and documentation ability. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanically inclined, preferably with a manufacturing backgroun Comfortable working with hands, even without prior manufacturing or assembly experience. Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift. Capability to frequently reach at waist level and occasionally above head. Ability to carry up to 10 lbs and lift up to 45 lbs. Capacity to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and/or stoop. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
