Responsibilities Parts order shipping - Package parts for FedEx and UPS pickups with bubble wrap or any other material required to ensure no damage occurs during transit - Run the shipping dashboard regularly throughout the day to ensure urgent parts orders are shipped by end of day - Notify our shipping coordinator if any parts on the shipping dashboard will not be able to be shipped on time. Include the reason for the delay. - Ensure packaged parts are properly labelled and contain a packing slip prior to shipping Receiving parts - Inspect parts on trucks to ensure parts do not have any damage prior to unloading - Unload trucks and stage parts for receiving - Verify the correct parts and quantities were delivered by matching them to the packing slip provided by the vendor or customer. - Communicate any discrepancies in the packing slip with the materials team - Receive all parts with a purchase order through our ERP system - Work with the materials team to update purchase orders to match packing slips when necessary - Parts returned by our customers or vendors should have an RMA and should be received to the RMA shelf location. Communicate the parts received from our customer with our CRT team. Communicate the parts received from our vendors to the materials team. - Receive parts to inspection through our ERP system and email the materials team and any other member mentioned on the purchase order to take care of the inspection. - Properly label parts received with a barcode. - Put away parts received the same day. - When receiving parts, review the whiteboard for any urgent parts needed in production prior to putting parts away on the shelf. - Urgent parts listed on the whiteboard should be delivered to the team leader for that line or at least notify the team leaders through an email. - Manage overstock inventory using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method Operating machinery - Previous forklift certification required. - Get properly trained prior to operating any machinery - Document any accidents immediately to your supervisor - Maintain fork levels at a proper height to prevent any safety hazards - Assist the team leaders with any urgent requests in a timely manner to ensure little to no delay in production - Ensure our ERP system has accurate data by transferring parts to its proper bin location. - Help with cycle counting as necessary and help troubleshoot any discrepancies - Ensure the ERP system gets properly updated after a cycle count Company Description Just In Time Staffing seeks to pair top candidates with opportunities that will be mutually beneficial for both them and the employers.
