As a key team member in our warehouse at US Foods, the Order Picker is integral in ensuring that our wide array of products is efficiently and accurately picked according to the daily orders. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is committed to helping us maintain our position as a top foodservice distributor by swiftly fulfilling client demands. As part of our warehouse team in the bustling food and beverage sector, you will work closely with a range of departments to handle goods, maintain inventory, and ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality products. Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts to gather orders. Participate in warehouse inventory controls and maintain high standards for health and safety. Inspect products for defects and damages, ensuring quality control. Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly by other workers. Experience in using forklift and pallet jack Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects and meet physical demands of the position Basic arithmetic skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Forklift Operation Certification preferred but not mandatory.
