Hybrid 80-95k base Our client, a respected law firm in Chicago, is
seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support its
Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring practice. Key
Responsibilities: Support attorneys on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11
cases, including large Chapter 11 and adversary matters. Draft
pleadings, orders, notices, certificates of service, subpoenas, and
proofs of claim. Manage case documents, review materials, prepare
exhibits, and maintain case logs. Coordinate electronic filings in
bankruptcy courts nationwide. Conduct legal research and retrieve
dockets, filings, and other case information. Track deadlines,
maintain calendars, and assist with trial preparation. Collaborate
with litigation support teams on matters overlapping with
litigation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal
certificate. 3 years of bankruptcy or litigation experience. Strong
e-filing skills and familiarity with bankruptcy court systems.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and (ideally) Best Case software.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple
deadlines. Compensation: Base salary: $80,000-$95,000, depending on
experience and qualifications. Additional Information: Personal
Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a
year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave.
PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the
calendar year. Paid Sick Leave Benefit offerings for full-time
employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D
insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional
voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k
plan Annual discretionary bonus based on individual performance
