Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and capable individual to join our team as a General Production Worker. This role requires you to engage in a variety of physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. You will also utilize computer systems for data entry and order tracking. Ideal candidates will possess some experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Consistently lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Use a computer for data entry and tracking purposes. Operate and safely use step ladders, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. Read location labels and use an RF scanner for order tracking. Work in a warehouse setting to process orders and manage inventory. Essential Skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently. Proficiency in bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods. Basic computer skills for data entry. Experience in using step ladders and reading location labels. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience. English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Shrink wrap and pallet jack experience. Experience with RF scanners. The facility features long rows that illuminate as you work, providing a quiet atmosphere where you can listen to music. The schedule runs Monday through Saturday, with a lighter workload on Saturdays from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Employees receive two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
