Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A part-time, onsite nursing opportunity is available
for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN/LVN) and Registered Nurses (RN)
with experience in school settings. This position supports the
health and well-being of a 7-year-old student on a 1:1 caseload
basis, providing personalized care in an educational environment.
Location: Joliet, IL (travel position) Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver nursing care and health assessments tailored to the
individual needs of the assigned student - Monitor and document
medical conditions and treatments while collaborating with school
staff and healthcare providers - Implement health plans, administer
medications, and respond to emergencies as needed - Advocate for
the students health and safety within the school setting
Qualifications: - Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure with school
nursing experience preferred - Knowledge of pediatric nursing care,
particularly in school environments - Strong communication skills
to coordinate effectively with educators, families, and healthcare
teams - Ability to work independently while managing a 1:1 caseload
