Job Description:
Overview $5,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation (for greater
than 100 miles) or $2,500 relocation (for greater than 50 miles)
for nurses with 1 or more years experience - External Applicants
Only The Ambulatory Nurse utilizes a systematic approach to nursing
by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation and
evaluation in the practice of nursing. Provides healthcare to
individuals, families, and communities within the RN scope of
practice as defined by the Illinois Board of Nursing.
Qualifications Certifications: Licensed Registered Professional

Nursing, Work Experience: None Responsibilities Provides and
facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area
of practice. Ensures adherence to established standards of care and
scope of practice.Ensures documentation of care is complete and
accurate.Provides health and wellness education to individuals and
groups.Acts as preceptor and supports the development of other
staff and healthcare students.Provides leadership for initiatives
designed to improve the quality of care or clinical
outcomes.Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development
of departmental standing orders.Assist with coordination of care
for patients age 0-21 with referrals to outside specialty
providers. Perform telephone triage of both acute and chronic needs
for patients age 0-21 Assist with in office procedures such as
circumcision. Provide in office education for parents of patients
with newly diagnosed diabetes and food allergies. Administration of
immunizations and medications to patients age 0-21 Obtain prior
authorization, then work with specialty pharmacies to obtain

The compensation range for this position is $30.39per hour -
$52.27per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum
range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The
actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a
variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s
experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts
