Join a collaborative perioperative/surgical team at a modern medical center in southeastern Wisconsin./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2100/week/n - Location: Burlington, WI 53105 (Southeastern Wisconsin travel nursing job)/n - Setting: 123-bed facility, Level III Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center/n - Unit: Operating Room (3 ORs)/n - Assignment Type: Travel – Travel OR RN / Travel Nurse/n - Start Date: April 6, 2026/n - End Date: July 4, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 8-hour day shifts/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - On Call: Every 6th weekend (Fri afternoon–Mon morning) and 1 night/week (30-minute response time)/n - Floating: May float to Southern Lakes and Lakeland locations as scheduled/n - Charting System: EPIC (required)/n - Scrub Color: Procedural (provided)/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Active RN license (Wisconsin or compact state) — Wisconsin nursing jobs welcome/n - Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN / perioperative nursing experience/n - Current ACLS and BLS certifications/n - Experience circulating in the OR required (Circulating RN / Surgical Nurse)/n - Pediatric OR experience preferred (pediatric cases ~5–10% of caseload)/n - Proficiency with EPIC charting system/n - Ability to float to other surgical sites as needed/n - COVID-19 vaccination required/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Circulate for a variety of surgical cases including general, GYN, ENT, urology, orthopedics, podiatry, vascular, and occasional pediatrics/n - Provide perioperative nursing care and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Make critical, independent decisions and respond to changing situations with appropriate interventions/n - Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operating room environment/n - Float to other surgical sites as scheduled and participate in on-call rotation (30-minute response time when on call)/n - Document care accurately and efficiently using EPIC/n /n/n /n Experience the best of Burlington, WI — a friendly southeastern Wisconsin community with charming downtown areas, scenic parks, lakes, trails, and local events.
