Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 20 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Cardiovascular) Licensure & Certifications: Active IL RN License BLS (AHA) required ACLS (AHA) required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice and nursing process Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills Ability to educate patients and families using age-specific and culturally competent strategies Responsible for patient and staff safety, including use of lift equipment and safe patient handling Assignment Type & Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 20-week assignment Floating may include sister facilities Additional Information: Provides professional nursing care in the OR Cardiovascular specialty. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, clinical excellence, and high-quality care throughout the perioperative process.
