Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week /n• Handle 20-30 cases per day on average in 6 labs with pre-op and phase 2 recovery areas /n• Provide support for vascular, neuro, drain, and line procedures /n• Perform scrubbing, pass supplies, and set up/take down of procedure rooms /n• Work with EPIC charting system and Phillips monitors /n• Call requirements include 7-9 shifts in 6 weeks with 30-minute response time /n• Weekend and holiday call requirements /n• No floating requirements - work specifically in interventional radiology /n• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS certification /n• Active Illinois license required /n• Scrub colors provided by facility /n• 3-5 day unit-specific orientation in the lab /n• Must pass negative drug screen for all panels /n• Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department featuring 6 specialized labs with pre-operative and phase 2 recovery areas.
