trauma-informed individual and group counseling to adult survivors
and child witnesses of domestic violence, in both shelter and
offsite settings. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team
focused on comprehensive support, including prevention, assessment,
advocacy, referral, and ongoing therapeutic services. SCHEDULE M

for South Suburbia is a non-profit organization committed to
providing emergency shelter and essential services to individuals
and families impacted by domestic violence. We serve thousands of
individuals annually across the south suburban Chicago area,
offering a comprehensive range of support services. We value

encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. KEY
RESPONSIBLITIES: Client Services: Conduct psychosocial assessments
for adults and children affected by domestic violence. Develop and
regularly update individualized service plans and safety plans.
Provide weekly individual, family, and group counseling using
evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. Facilitate
psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups. Deliver domestic
violence education to clients. Offer crisis intervention as needed
& collaborate with other professionals as needed Administrative &
Compliance: Complete and submit accurate documentation within
required timeframes. Maintain compliance with CCSS policies, funder
guidelines, and licensing standards. Update client master lists and
ensure files meet internal and external audit standards.
Participate in staff meetings,, aftercare services and PAIP victim
outreach as assigned. Contribute to CCSSs 40-hour domestic violence
training program when needed. Preferred Qualifications: MSW-Social
Work / MA/MS Counseling Clinical Psych or related field LSW/LCSW
eligible / LPC/LCPC Eligible Trauma-Informed Therapy / DV/IVP
advocacy/therapy
