About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience:
Minimum of 2 years, with at least 1 year of hospice experience
required License: Active Illinois license required or confirmation
of application process initiated Certifications: BLS, BSN required
Must-Have: Experience in pain and symptom management at the end of
life; familiarity with central lines; EPIC experience Description:
Registered Nurse specializing in hospice care. Will provide care to
patients in their final stages of life, including individuals with
various stages of cancer, end-stage COPD, CHF, CKD, Alzheimer’s
Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, and liver disease. Experience
with respiratory equipment, such as Trilogy ventilators, BiPap, and
CPAP, is required. Position requires flexibility, strong critical
thinking skills, and compassion. Clinicians will typically see 5
patients per day. There is a clinical supervisor available 24/7 for
support. Home health aides are provided to support nursing staff.
Shifts consist of 8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
On-call responsibilities include weekend backup every 6 weeks and
weekday on-call as needed. Holiday coverage may be required.
Clinicians are required to provide their own scrubs in solid colors
that are clean and free of holes. Up to 10 shifts (2 weeks) of
unit-specific orientation may be provided. Requirements Required
