Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
(PALS preferred) Must-Have: - Ability to float within scope to meet
facility needs - Previous charge experience - Experience with
charting systems Description: This position is for a registered
nurse specializing in emergency room care. The shift is three
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The clinician will be
required to float as needed within the facility. Weekend work will
be required every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month.
Request for time off is limited to five days maximum, with no more
than two consecutive days off. Time off is not permitted on
holidays or weekends. The clinician may be floated to various units
as needed, including those outside of their primary area of
expertise. Key skills required include arterial line management,
interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and the ability to
care for ventilated patients. The facility practices isolation
precautions and requires proper triage skills. Clinicians must
submit proof of vaccinations one week prior to the start date.
Boosters are not required for this role. Candidates are expected to
be responsive and timely in meeting all compliance requirements.
