Nurse cares for women during labor and childbirth. The RN monitors
both the baby and the mother. The RN coaches mothers through the
birthing process. The RN assists doctors as needed. The RN prepares
women and their families for the stages of giving birth. The RN
helps patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born. The
