Job Description:

Required Certifications: RPSGT or CPSGT, BLS Must-Have: Registered
Polysomnographic Technologist preferred. RT with sleep experience
will be considered. Description: The position involves working as a
Polysomnographer. Candidates will work with a variety of cases
including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The lab
has a sleep lab ratio of 2:1 with 6 beds available. First-time
travelers are accepted. Candidates are required to have BLS
certification. On-call duty is not required for this position.
Candidates must have the required certifications in hand to submit
their applications. Scheduling flexibility with block scheduling is
available. Local candidates are welcome. Pending state licenses are
not accepted. The candidate is required to work independently and
perform various functions including polysomnography and titrations
for CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV. Experience with Alice 6 software is
beneficial. Candidates will be split between two facilities that
are approximately 30 minutes apart. The preferred candidate has
experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
Candidates must be willing to float to different facilities as
necessary. All candidates are required to work 2 out of 3 major
holidays. Reference checks will be conducted prior to hiring.
Floating to nearby affiliate hospitals is mandatory for all
travelers. Two supervisor references are required. All
certifications must be current and match the unit description
requirements. Candidates should be prepared to comply with the
facility's background policy. Candidates who have been permanent or
PRN employees must be away for 12 months before applying as
travelers.
