Job Description:

VCA County West Animal Hospital located in Kankakee, IL, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team. We are a small animal general practice.
At VCA County West, we'll give you the tools and guidance needed to practice best quality medicine. We are the only AAHA accredited clinic in our county and work with several local shelters. We are also a Gold Level Feline Friendly Practice as recognized by the AAFP. Our staff works hard to practice Fear Free techniques and Low Stress handling skills. We offer grooming and boarding services, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, comprehensive wellness plan options, and more.
We are currently looking to fill a full-time position. Schedule includes a set 4 days/week (M-F) and a rotating half day on Saturday. Applicants looking for a part-time position will also be considered.
We are located about 1 - hours south of Chicago, right along the Kankakee River. There are plenty of outdoor adventure opportunities at nearby Kankakee River State Park.
