Cardiology-Electrophysiology opening in Kankakee, Illinois. Electrophysiology Opportunity - Kankakee, IL Riverside Medical Center is a 314-bed Level II Trauma hospital located less than one hour south of Chicago. As the only hospital in Illinois to receive both Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence and Outstanding Patient Experience Awards, Riverside Healthcare and the Riverside Medical Group continue to shape the future of medicine in the region. Riverside s Heart and Vascular Institute is composed of twelve board-certified cardiologists/EPs and nine advanced practice providers. This team is focused on providing high quality, comprehensive cardiac care from preventative health maintenance to cutting edge diagnostic and treatment services. We are actively recruiting a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to replace a retiring physician. Qualified candidates must be ACGME accredited and have completed an EP fellowship. We are willing to consider a 0.5 to 1.0 FTE for the appropriate candidate. The successful candidate must have expertise and interest in Laser lead extraction. Interest in epicardial ablation is preferred.This is an EP-call only position. Candidates can expect a fully staffed and equipped new state-of-the-art practice environment with full access to the latest CARTO equipment, a dedicated ECHO machine and a dedicated EP lab.
