We Are Hiring: Title: Registry II RN- INADepartment: Critical Care (ICU)Schedule: Registry II, Nights, 12hr shifts -Section 10.2 In House Registry Nurse II (Unit-Based)In House Registry Nurse II nurses are bargaining unit nurses who report to a unit manager, with the followingcommitment:1) The nurse shall agree to work, when needed, a minimum of fifteen (15) posted shifts in a six (6) weekschedule.2) The nurse shall agree to work, when needed, six (6) weekend shifts in a six (6) week schedule.3) The nurse shall agree to work two (2) tracked holidays of the manager's choice.Hospital: Ascension Saint Joseph Medical Center Location: 333 N. What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
    • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Nurses hired after May 23, 2014, who have a diploma or an associates' degree in nursing will be required to be accepted into a BSN program within six (6) months of the nurse's hire date. The nurse will be required to complete a BSN program within three (3) years of his/her hire date.Work Experience:
      • Two to four years of clinical nurse experience preferred. Additional Preferences: No additional preferences.
