client-facing, supporting Point B by leading large business and
technical projects that address our clients' challenges. The
Manager works across multiple industries and functional areas,
leading large teams or programs with multiple workstreams. This
role involves supervising daily team activities and may include
formal people management responsibilities.Responsibilities
Overview
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of large engagements,
driving decision-making to move work forward.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge
sharing, innovation, and high performance.
- Develop and manage complex project structures, schedules,
budgets, and resource plans.
- Serve as a partner to clients throughout all engagement phases,
working effectively with senior leaders.
- Ensure quality standards and client requirements are met across
workstreams.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Manage project budgets to meet financial targets and maximize
profitability.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and advise on
key decisions.
- Adapt leadership approaches to different client
situations.
- Lead meetings effectively, driving discussions towards
resolution.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for the
firm.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support
business development.
- Assemble and lead program teams by leveraging team members'
strengths.
- Guide teams in pragmatic decision-making and solutions.
- Serve as a 1:1 manager for up to four associates, providing
feedback and performance reviews.
- Contribute to operational initiatives to improve delivery
methodologies.
- Collaborate with leaders to define long-term client goals and
new service offerings.
- Mentor and coach associates and clients, developing new skills
and careers.
- Provide engagement feedback to support development
reviews.
- Demonstrate and embody Point B values consistently.Required
Qualifications Overview
- B.A. or B.S. degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience.
- Ability to work onsite as needed.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours when necessary.Desired
Qualifications Overview
- MBA preferred.
- Experience leading large, complex engagements as a project
manager.
- Cross-industry or deep industry experience preferred.
- Consulting and customer-facing experience required.
- Experience coaching or advising on project management
activities.
- Knowledge of technology, systems implementation, change
management, PMO/TMO, PPM, or process improvement.
- Experience leading teams and developing others on
engagements.Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary range is
$75,500-$167,500 USD annually, depending on factors like location,
skills, education, and experience. Bonuses are awarded at the
company's discretion based on individual and firm
