The Sr. Tax Manager will interface extensively with cross-functional groups within and outside the tax department. This position will assist with transformation of CBRE tax accounting function.Primary responsibilities will include:Manage the completion of the companys quarterly and annual US federal and state tax provisions in OneSource.Assist with the consolidation of the companys global tax accounting process and ensure accurate and timely completion of the quarterly and year-end tax provisions.Ensure that all US tax accounts are properly supported, rolled forward, and reconciled between the accounting systems (e.g. PeopleSoft and HFM) and OneSource.Ensuring that all tax accounting related SOX Controls are implemented and working effectively.Work with the Accounting and FP teams to gather actual and forecast data to for completion of quarterly and year-end tax provisions.Work with the tax planning team to analyze and determine the income tax accounting implications of proposed mergers and acquisitions; tax planning initiatives and proposed and actual divestitures.Collaborate with tax team members who specialize in areas of U.S. international tax, state tax, or transfer pricing to understand and communicate tax sensitive data and its impact.Support the compliance function and review all RTPs to ensure they are accurate and properly accounted for; suggest future improvements to reduce RTPs.Review and monitor changes in U.S. tax legislation, rulings, regulations, and litigation, understand the relevant impact and recommend and implement responsive action to manage existing tax accounting position.Help with development of technical leadership and continuous process improvements within the tax accounting function.**QUALIFICATIONS**6+ years of US federal and state tax experience within a large multinational company or Big 4 public accounting firm.Tax accounting experience in a complex, growing, and evolving environment.Advanced Excel skills, experience with HFM and PeopleSoft, knowledge of OneSource or other tax provision software.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.Undergraduate in Accounting or Finance required; an advanced degree (MST) preferred._**Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Manager, Tax position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the_ _Senior Manager, Tax_ _position is $190,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.
