Are you an experienced "ROCKSTAR" nurse looking for growth opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Nursing Manager to oversee the Operating Room at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.

What You Will Do

Manage activities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.

+ Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.

+ Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).

+ Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.

+ Monitor and adhere to budget.

+ Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date reqired.

+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

+ Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience required.

Work Experience:

+ 3 years of experience required.

+ 1 year of leadership or management experience required.

Additional Preferences

Education:

+ BSN required; Masters preferred.

Work Experience:

+ 3 or more years of Operating room experience required as a Circulator.

+ 3 years of recent leadership experience required.
