parts, products and systems by developing and testing
specifications and methods. Complete engineering projects by
managing, organizing, controlling, and evaluating project elements.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Experience: Minimum of 1-3
years of broad-based manufacturing experience. Skills/Abilities:
Effective communicative and writing skills PC computer operational
skills 3D modeling software experience (Solidworks preferred) Must
be able to lift 30 lbs. ESSENTIAL RESULTS: Initiate project
objectives by studying design plans, engineering drawings, and
reviewing specifications and requirements. Maintain project
schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities,
and resolving problems. Initiate mechanical and electromechanical
systems and products by designing and conducting research programs,
applying principles of mechanics and materials; study customer
requirements, research and test manufacturing and assembly methods
and materials. Confirm system, part and product capabilities by
designing feasibility and testing methods, testing properties;
collect, analyze, and summarize information trends. Assure system
and product quality by designing and modifying equipment for
fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components;
design testing methods; test finished product and systems
capabilities; confirm fabrication, assembly and installation
processes. Provide engineering information by answering questions
and requests. Maintain systems and product database by collecting,
analyzing, summarizing, and entering all such data. Knowledge of
UL, ISO 9001/2000 standards Contribute to team effort by
accomplishing related results as needed. Perform any other job
duties as may be required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Prolonged periods of
sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift
up to 30 lbs. without assistance. Anything above 30 lbs. requires a
team lift. Must be able to reach above shoulder level, waist level
and below waist Must be able to use a pallet jack, lift equipment
and weight plates with a chain hoist/gantry crane (Certified
through Peerless-AV). Must be able to use hand tools; cordless
drill/driver and pneumatic rivet gun. Must be able to work in
non-dust/non-climate-controlled areas. Must be able to wear
