Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Joliet, IL area for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves working primarily with elementary students in K-12 settings, providing speech and language services tailored to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of 35-40 elementary students Collaborate within general education and special education classrooms, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Maintain documentation and communication with educators and families Participate in orientation and ongoing onsite support Qualifications: Certification as an SLP - CCC, School-Based SLP, or Completion of CFY, with supervision provided for new graduates Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule aligned with school hours Experience or comfort working in both general education and special education environments Strong communication and organizational skills Job Details: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Employment Type: W-2 employee status, annual school year contract with option to renew Immediate start, typically within 1-2 weeks after job offer One home-base setting, focused on elementary caseload Flexible scheduling restricted to school hours Benefits: Weekly paychecks every Friday Medical, dental, and vision coverage available 401(k) matching program Materials and licensure reimbursement allowance Onsite support to enhance professional growth Interviews are being scheduled now.
