oversees daily maintenance to maximize productivity while ensuring
safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities include maintaining
and repairing production equipment and facilities, handling
emergency and scheduled maintenance, diagnosing issues, and
minimizing downtime through quick troubleshooting and root cause
analysis. The ideal candidate works independently, performs
preventative maintenance, and contributes to a safe and productive
environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a wide
range of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and
plant facility equipment. Provide both emergency repairs and
scheduled maintenance for production equipment. Diagnose issues,
replace, or repair parts, and test and adjust machinery as needed.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment,
and facilities. Quickly identify machine issues to minimize
downtime and perform root cause analysis to prevent future
problems. Handle general building repairs and maintenance,
including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, and grounds
maintenance, as needed. Ensure a safe and organized work
environment, adhering to safety protocols to protect yourself and
coworkers. Perform various plumbing and carpentry tasks. Work
independently, maintaining high performance and speed without
compromising quality. Operate a variety of hand and power tools,
electric meters, and material handling equipment. Assist in
developing and implementing continuous improvement projects to
enhance production efficiency and safety. Collaborate with
production staff to ensure safe and reliable operation of plant
equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements:
Ability to pass drug screen and background checks required Basic
electrical understanding of 120V/240V/480V, single and three phase.
Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical
systems. Must be able to walk, stand, crouch, push, pull, kneel,
bend, and reach, for long periods. Must be capable of multi-tasking
and communicating with various people and personalities.
Organization and problem-solving skills Proven ability to
understand and follow safety procedures and protocols. Ability to
work independently while maintaining a high level of performance,
working quickly without compromising quality. Bilingual (Spanish)
in written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills is
required. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with some
allergen products Exposed to both environmental conditions as
activities occur both inside and outside There is sufficient noise
to cause the work to shout to be heard above the ambient noise
levels Expose to normal work hazards, including a variety of
physical conditions, moving vehicles, machines, and weather
